To import fireworks, you need to meet two key requirements:
- Import License You must obtain a valid fireworks import license from your local government. This is mandatory for customs clearance in your country, and we also need a copy to book shipping space. Please check with your local authorities for specific requirements.
- Full Container Load (FCL) Fireworks are classified as dangerous goods (1.4G/UN0336 or 1.3G/UN0335, HS Code: 3604100000) and must be shipped in a dedicated container. Mixed loading with other normal goods is not permitted. The minimum order is one 20ft container.
A: The best time to order fireworks depends on your target market:
- US market – Christmas season: Order before May. Final deadline is July. Production halts from mid-July to September due to high temperature bans. Orders after July cannot be delivered before Christmas.
- US market – July 4th season: Order between January and March for on-time delivery. Most e-commerce clients place orders in the second half of the previous year to secure production capacity. Early ordering is strongly recommended.
- European market: Order either before or after Chinese New Year. Orders placed before the holiday allow raw material preparation and immediate production after the holiday. Orders placed after the holiday can also be accepted with normal lead time. Avoid placing orders during the holiday period when the factory is closed.
- Russian market: Order either before or after Chinese New Year, same as the European market. Pre-holiday orders secure early production slots; post-holiday orders are processed with standard lead time. Orders during the holiday shutdown will be delayed.

The MOQ for one product is 50 cartons. But fireworks products have to be shipped in a full container load, so the MOQ of fireworks purchasing is a 20ft container. You can buy different fireworks to fit it.
